Abermarlais Caravan Park

Abermarlais is a riverside park in the heart of unspoilt countryside. We were inspired to create this very special setting by our own caravan holidays on the continent, where we saw just how much you could appreciate the informality and relaxed atmosphere of a “natural� spot to pitch your caravan, motor home or tent – a place where you can truly feel at one with your surroundings.

But of course, we still keep everything neat and tidy and there are all the facilities you would expect…a clean and modern toilet/shower block, electric hook-ups and a shop for groceries and calor gas.

A five-acre main camping area means that we always have plenty of space for our guests, even in the height of the season, and there is all the room you’ll need for family fun and games. The river is slow running and only a couple of feet deep, so children can play in it safely if adequately supervised.

The focal point of the park is the walled garden that remains from the old Abermarlais estate – a perfect suntrap and home to children’s playground and nets for badminton or softball. If you have very young children, you may prefer to reserve a pitch within the walls so you can keep a watchful eye as they play.

Abermarlais is bordered by a forest on one side and a nine-acre private wood on the other, with children’s swings and some very enjoyable walks that complete the picture of this park as a nature lover’s delight.
